crssEsther Goh
How things are, they don’t need to be; how things appear are not necessarily how they are. There feels a grave acknowledgement of the status quo in Esther Goh’s works, a serious nodding that there are many aspects of our modern life that seem written in stone. But there is also a wonderfully colorful rejection of these things, a celebration of stone coming to life, of old skin being shucked off, and of the transformative beauty of stretching a little beyond the normal and expected, the sun that comes from changing perspective.
