"My paintings explore our mental and psychological conditions as human beings through portraiture. The paintings illustrate our internal sensations of desire and repulsion which are embodied by vibrant, dancing forms around a central figure. These forms represent emotion, movement and sound. I am also adressing issues of the unconventional beauty of self destruction. This series illustrate my awareness of the cycle of life as a form of death and regeneration. They celebrate our fascination with the beauty of tragedy."
