Yun-Woo Choi: Constellation of Paper

the Korean artist makes use of colourful papers from old books and magazines to fold into rolls and build gigantic swirling statues.

The collection is called ’14 Dimensions’ and ‘Invisible and intangible matter’ that he makes concrete expression to his question of elusive life, “What is real? Where am I living? What do I perceive is the real? Do they have some space of their own?” Hence he utilizes waste paper to transform into a stunning gravity-defying city suspending in space. Through the recycling process of the art creation, Yun ponders the forever causal and mutual philosophy of life.
