Apparently the world is more concerned with the continuous and severe global warming that leads to further actions taken, yet it is not enough. Even Japanese artist, Takashi Kawano, has to take active action in his role to call for more actions.
He has recently sculpted a vibrant collection of animal statues from polar bear, deer as well as penguin in melted form with desperate and wretched expressions. The vivid expressions of the animals are truly the result of reckless human behaviors to the natural environment that have caused them to lose their habitat and further to the extinction. Melted sculpture is more than an explicit art, it is an urgent alert. We have to encounter the problem and keep the animals safe and alive.
