Embroidery by Jen Wilson
Growing up in Ontario, Canada, Jen Wilson (born 1950) always had an eye for the arts and she loved to make things with her hands. After receiving her BA from Brooks Institute of Photography in 1994, she started documenting the graffiti scene in Toronto. She tried all kinds of art mediums and embroidery work evolved from doodles on magazine pictures. In 2010, after moving to London, Ontario, she began using embroidery on cotton with a t-shirt iron-on and stitching the designs into it. She is currently showing her embroidery work at galleries in Canada and the USA.
