Apache Revolver with Folding Blade

  • Dated: third quarter of the 19th century
  • Maker: Louis Dolne
  • Provenance: Belgium
  • Measurements: overall length 20.5 cm

Featuring a six-shot cylinder barrel group (keeping 70% of finishing), the revolver has stamps of Birmingham test bench, and a 5mm caliber. The frame comes with the crowned mark “DAF” on the lower part and the inscription “DOLNE-BAR / INV. BREVETE” on the left, surmounted by the serial number “1xxx”. The folding trigger and safety lock are placed on the right, and stamp of Birmingham test bench. On the left there’s the undulated, double-edged, folding blade. This one has a folding grip, as the frame is made of brass; all other elements made of iron.
