Batman Begins started off as a more direct adaptation of the comic Batman: Year One. It would have been directed by Darren Aronofsky and written by Aronofsky and Frank Miller. Changes included Bruce Wayne living in anonymity, hand making the Bat Suit, the Bat Mobile being a modified Lincoln Continental and Alfred being a middle aged mechanic called “Little Al”. (x)
