Sabatino Cersosimo is a 39 year old artist from Italy. He uses a plethora of materials to create his masterpieces, like oil paint, chipwood, and even rust on steel. Sabatino picked up drawing and painting in his early years, but didn’t get serious about it until he decided to enrol in art school:
…I loved drawing and painting since I was a child. The Academy of Fine Art, in 1994, was the beginning of a more conscious concept. Art was a way to express myself, to give a concrete consistence to my dreams, thoughts, fears.
Some of Sabatino’s favorite artists include Francis Bacon , Egon Schiele , Lucian Freud , Anselm Kiefer , and Arnold Böcklin.
