We can’t show you the Oscars stage yet, but we can show you Derek McLane’s sketches

McLane has designed more than 300 theatrical productions for live television, Broadway, Off-Broadway, the West End, and regionally across the United States and around the world.

McLane returns as production designer of “The Oscars: 2016” for a fourth consecutive year, after earning an Emmy nomination for his work on each of the previous telecasts, and winning in 2014. 

His other television credits include “The Sound of Music Live!,” “Peter Pan Live!” and “The Wiz Live!” for NBC. Select Broadway credits include: Noises Off, Gigi, Living On Love, Beautiful, The Heiress, Nice Work If You Can Get It, The Best Man, Follies, Anything Goes (2011 Tony nom.), among others.
