Jade’s animals, mostly predators from the canine and feline families, convey both a sense of strength and ferocity as well as a frail, almost lonely side. They wander through the night by themselves but have a light to them, or clearly warn us to stay away. Jade’s art skillfully merges classic plays of light and shadow with a modern digital painting style.
